In close collaboration with the business community, the public sector, and universities, we develop courses and programs that maintain high quality and are tailored to the needs of the regional labor market.

The 3D Technology program is a two-year higher education program focusing on practical application within product development and design. The education is a collaboration between Campus Värnamo and the Jönköping University (JTH).

We are now looking for a teacher for the program, based in Värnamo. The position is a permanent employment.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the implementation, examination, and associated course administration of several courses included in the program
• Conduct seminars, exercises, or laboratory work and supervise student projects
• Be responsible for planning, implementation, and examination for business-related courses
• Evaluate and further develop courses
• Plan and conduct study visits

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with solid experience in design and product development, with a particular focus on practical application. You have competence in CAD and are accustomed to working with programs such as Solid Works or equivalent. Experience in practical design, prototype development, and manufacturing is crucial, and we prefer that you have good experience working in a workshop environment with 3D printing, laser cutting, and CNC machining.

You ideally have several years of experience either as a teacher/consultant and we prefer that you have at least a 3-year engineering degree, for example in mechanical engineering, production technology, product development, or equivalent.

You speak and write Swedish fluently and have good knowledge of English.

As a person, you are responsible, positive, and driven by challenges. You are independent, structured, solution-focused, and easy to collaborate with. You have a pedagogical sense and a well-developed communicative ability. Since the job involves a lot of contact with both students and employers, it requires a flexible and service-oriented person.
